Best 5 Seo Tips For Beginners

best 5 seo tipsSearch Engine Optimization or SEO is just all about making your blog’s content search engine friendly. The more SEO friendly your blog’s posts would be, the better it will get placed in the Google search results. There are millions of people who call them SEO experts but actually none of them is an expert, they are just the interpreters, who interpret what Matt Cutts’s videos says. There are big firms too, offering you SEO services in return of heavy price. I understand that making your blog is a complicated process but it isn’t as complicated that you have to slip out heavy bucks from your pocket. You can even do it yourself. So here Top 5 SEO Tips for Beginners.

Title Tag

Title Tag is an important aspect of the on-page SEO. If you have written a post about “Western Dancing Culture”, give it a relating title, don’t give the title which is related to Wine Culture! Also make sure, the keywords you use in your title tag are used by you in your post, quite frequently. Also, don’t forget to make sure that there are no two (or above) same titles present on your site – creates confusion for Crawlers.

Meta Tags

Meta Tags too are really important for SEO but not all the people agree with this. Some say that Google has stopped using Meta Tags as a search filter, nobody knows whether it’s true or not. Meta Tags though should always be added in your posts. Meta Tags are just the group of 3-4 keywords joined together that are related to the post, you can add hundreds of Meta Tags but you should keep the Meta Tag count below 5.

Headings

Usage of Header tag in SEO is a crucial factor that can define your site’s success. The heading tag ranges from <h1> to <h6>, <h1> tag shows the biggest font, while <h6> shows the text in the smallest font. There should only be one <h1> tag in the post and that’s generally the title, other headings should be walled within <h2>. In case you have further sub-headings, you can use <h3> tag too.

Link Types

There are generally two types of links, dofollow links and nofollow links. Every blog or website should have a balanced number of dofollow and nofollow links. But in case your blog is new, you should focus more on getting dofollow links, and that too from big blogs, and give every other link present on your blog “nofollow” attribute.

Backlinks

Getting a good amount of backlinks from big blogs is necessary too. The more backlinks your blog will have, the higher Pagerank it is expected to achieve. Backlinks’ quality too matters a lot. You should try getting more backlinks from good Pagerank sites with good daily traffic. The backlinks count increases with time.
