Two days ago when i opened my facebook account i found that i have 3 unread messages and then i clicked on see all messages and found an awesome layout for facebook inbox and then next day google too launced the new compose mail facility.This new inbox layout is definately a welcome step from facebook as lot of people has started to use facebook email as their permanent email address (like i have ***chandan@facebook.com).
How to open new layout?
You have to click on see all messages to see this new layout which has two view one which had the recent messages and other is viewer which helps you see and reply for the selected message.
Why i don't recieve messages sometime on inbox?
Sometimes messages from people who are not into your friendlist goes into other messages so check your other messages too regularly....
So facebook certainly not leaving any hole in their fatures and i hope you all also like this new layout.
